In helping the homeless people, My AMAL is a well recognized NGO that allocates and provides food aid services such as meals at various locations around KL.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Give food to the hungry, pay a visit to the sick and release (set free) the one in captivity Sahih al-Bukhari 5373

“Kuala Lumpur is experiencing a new wave of homelessness as more employers are forced to let go of their employees due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Thousands of people are sleeping on the streets as they can no longer pay their rent or buy food.” - Rashdan Rashid, The Star 2021

The latest data on the homeless population in Malaysia is not found, but it can be assumed that the numbers have increased due to the pandemic. The scarcity of studies done on the homeless population is obvious. Even the Department of Statistics Malaysia expressed difficulty in accounting for the number of homeless persons via a census in 2010 – a possible factor for the lack of data.

The homeless were one of the highest risk groups, exposed to the world with barely any protection against the weather, let alone a virus spreading around the globe like wildfire.

Under the brand name Feed MyKL, we deliver home-cooked food provided by on a weekly basis to those who need it, with love and affection.

Held in the center of Kuala Lumpur weekly, we join hands with other NGOs to ensure that home-cooked food is served to the homeless and needy on an on-going basis.

We also provide food to in the form of essential groceries & food packs to the poor in the urban as well as rural areas.

Many volunteers join us to distribute the to warmly greet the people we are there to serve.

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia will begin transitioning into the endemic phase starting April 1, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob. The Prime Minister said during the transition period, operation hours for businesses will no longer be limited, but face masks will remain mandatory. - The Star, 2022

We would like to ask the global community to join our efforts to help the needy around Kuala Lumpur.

Please send your warmest hopes by donating to this campaign.

Thank you so much.
