We are the Queen's Muslim Student Association (QUMSA) looking to fundraise for iftars on campus. Unlike other universities, Queen's University is home to many non-local Muslim students. Every year, QUMSA provides free daily iftars during Ramadan for students on campus. This year - we need your help.

We served over 200 students daily last Ramadan. This year we're told to estimate a significant increase in these numbers. We ask those looking to donate a meal to a fasting person to consider QUMSA's program.

The burden of eating alone in Ramadan, or not knowing what to eat because of a student budget, can be lifted with your donation.

BRONZE - $8 - Sponsor One Meal

SILVER - $40 - Sponsor 5 Meals

GOLD - $120 - Sponsor 15 Meals

EMERALD - $240 - Sponsor One Student's Meals for the Entire Month

SAPPHIRE - $720 Sponsor 3 Students' Meals!

PLATINUM - $1600 Sponsor an Entire Night!

The budget for food and catering is calculated based on the estimated number of people and the cost per person per night. Iftar meals will be sourced from local halal restaurants and caterers located in Kingston, ON, which provide an average estimated cost of $8 per plate.
