Help publish a special collection of prayers to uplift the Ummah & support sending this Du’a book to marginalized communities in prisons & women's shelters.

Help Publish Rabata's Du’a Book!

Make du’a and bring du'a back into homes and hearts! We know Allah loves to hear our voices raised in du’a, but sometimes we don’t know where to start. A du’a book filled with loving, sincere du’as would help, and your donation will help Rabata publish just such a book.

“This book contains a beautiful collection of du’as that give the supplicant a voice with which to approach God in a genuine and touching way.”

This collection of du’as gifts the supplicant
✅ words with which to praise,
✅ ways in which to request God’s forgiveness,
✅ direction in what to seek protection from and what to ask for.

This special collection of prayers will revitalize the du’a habits of Arabic speakers and allow English speakers access to some of our tradition’s most powerful and transformative prayers - many for the first time.

Imagine being showered with reward every time someone else is making du’a from the book your donation helped publish.

Our vision is to provide a book that will be useful for women in their dhikr week, beloved to young people seeking their own special du’a book, and a refuge for all tired and traumatized hearts.

We invite you to support this collection of du’as translated and supplemented by Rabata’s beloved Sīra and Arabic instructor, Nishat Lal. Once published, our goal is to have at least 10% of books donated to prisons and women's shelters.

The Messenger of Allah (s) said, “Shall I not tell you what is the best of all your deeds, which will raise you the highest in rank, is the purest in the sight of your King, is better for you than giving gold and silver in charity, and better for you than meeting your enemy in battle and striking them and being struck by them?” They said, “Yes.” He said, “The remembrance of Allah.”

Why the Excitement?

"I'm always coming across du'as and printing them to save for later.  I have printed the ones shared on Rabata's facebook page because I love the colors and beauty of the layout. I have a journal I've been saving them in but have always thought it would be amazing to have a book full of du'as that newer converts don't know. As if Rabata knew this was my hearts desire it was mentioned recently and I've been so excited ever since hearing about it.  Happily supporting the project and so touched that it's planned to be shared with women who would otherwise not have access to such a beneficial resource. I've taken Arabic with Anse Nishat and I'm so thrilled that she has translated this book for us. Having something in larger print where I'll be able to easily read the Arabic and have the English and transliteration is so crucial and helpful. Bottom line......I'M JUST SO EXCITED FOR ALL THE CONTENT RABATA RELEASES AND THIS IS AMAZING!!!"

When was the last time you held a copy of beloved du’as from the Qurʾān and hadith in your hands that was compiled by a teacher of Sīra who holds degrees in Arabic & Translation? Learn about Nishat Lal here:

Anse Nishat Lal

Nishat Lal was raised in Cardiff, Wales. A born Muslim of Indian origin, she began studying Arabic at age 14, which was her springboard to receiving Bachelor’s degrees in Arabic and History from the University of London. She then traveled to Syria for her third year of study, where she met Dr. Tamara Gray, earned her ijāza in tajwīd and studied at the University of Damascus. Upon her return to England she earned a Master’s degree in Arabic Translation from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London, after which she got married and now has two little children. Nishat has taught both Arabic and tajwīd online extensively as well as in person. "Learning Arabic is the key to the vast treasures of Islam, and I'm excited to help students begin their journey into the Qurʾān and other Islamic texts with confident foundations." Nishat has been teaching Arabic with the Ribaat Academic Institute since 2014.
