RAHAMA began as a grassroots organization that has expanded to provide many services to survivors of domestic violence in the Muslim, immigrant and refugee community. While experiencing and escaping domestic violence is hard enough, not being able to speak English makes it even harder to get help. RAHAMA's services were developed to help remove the obstacles that stand in the way of survivors getting help. Help us to renovate our transitional housing shelter program and expand our services and help so that we can help more women.
Transitional Housing Program
In addition to our services, we are in the process of renovating our transitional housing shelter that was purchased with the help of our LaunchGood and local community. Our transitional housing program be a place of empowerment and healing, access to halal food, a place to pray and much more. Our culturally competent staff will offer the following services.

With your generosity, we are asking to continue to provide these services to our clients and other agencies. The cost of one coffee can go to purchasing metro cards for a client. A small sacrifice on your part that could mean the difference between stable housing and eviction for someone who does not have reliable transportation to a job. Many times, our clients only have us to rely on due to fleeing abusive homes in which they were previously isolated. We are asking to help these women hold onto the lives they have slowly rebuilt for themselves and help RAHAMA continue to be their source of support.
