‘Whosoever builds a Masjid for the pleasure of Allah (swt), Allah (swt) builds for them a House in Paradise’ [Tirmidhi]

We need Your assistance to repay $1.5M loan required to retain the Islamic Centre.
Help us save our Islamic Centre & reap the reward as long as it stands إِنْ شَاءَ ٱللَّٰهُ. 

Townline Muslim Centre (TMC) has been serving a fast-growing Muslim community in Cambridge, Ontario since March 2018. It seeks to revive the Islamic spirit in peoples lives through a focus on spirituality, physical activity, learning and personal growth. 

The Muslim community in Cambridge had identified a need to establish a place of worship where the community could offer their 5 daily prayers and which could cater to the diverse growing need of the community. 

TMC was funded through an interest free loan due in March 2023. The goal for the Centre is to clear the outstanding $1.5 Million loan in order for us to be debt free by March 2023 إِنْ شَاءَ ٱللَّٰهُ. 

Summary of Services and Events provided by TMC 

We are seeking your help to cover the remaining amount of $1.5M and help retain the Islamic Centre and preventing the community from loosing out on a keystone service. We urge you to extend your hands of generosity for the House of Allah. Together, we will prevent our Islamic Centre from being sold إِنْ شَاءَ ٱللَّٰهُ,.

Allah reminds us in the Quran:

“The example of those who spend their wealth in the cause of Allah is that of a grain that sprouts into seven ears, each bearing one hundred grains. And Allah multiplies the reward even more to whoever He wills. For Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing." [2:261]

“O believers! Donate from what We have provided for you before the arrival of a Day when there will be no bargaining, friendship, or intercession. Those who disbelieve are truly the wrongdoers.” [2:254]

Abu Huraira reported God’s messenger as saying,

“If anyone gives as sadaqa the equivalent of a date from something lawfully earned, for God accepts only what is lawful, 
God will accept it with His right hand, then foster it for the one who gave it as one of you fosters his colt, till it becomes like a mountain.”

(Bukhari and Muslim.)
