Ramadan Campaign In Honor of Um Omar

Every Ramadan Um Omar led a campaign to Sponsor Orphans. Help us continue this effort in her name this Ramadan. She was a beacon of knowledge and a positive force on the community and the needy alike, creating impact in every way imaginable. Most notable was her philanthropic work to sponsor and care for orphans around the world. Her most impactful month of the year was Ramadan, as she spent months preparing for the blessed month, as she tirelessly rallied the community to reach her goal: to sponsor a set number of orphans ever year.

Supporting Orphans This Ramadan 

Specifically, among many of her charitable efforts, she made sure to provide constant support for 233 orphans throughout the year. This Ramadan, with your help, we hope to continue supporting these orphans for an entire year. She carefully selected orphans who she could learn about by name and biography.

Where The Funds Will Go 

May Allah reward you and continue to bless you this month and always. In coordination with the recently established Iman Jasim Foundation, the orphans who have been relying on monthly support from her projects will continue to be supported for one year. Yearly cost per orphan is $600. We ask Allah to grant mercy upon her soul and accept all of her efforts to serve others for His sake.

 How You Can Support

1. Donate to feed your mind and spirit while feeding orphans. You can purchase some of Um Omar's books as a gift for yourself or others. After the campaign,  we will follow up on all orders. Shipping to US and Canada Only.

2. Share this Campaign and the reward with friends and family. Proceeds from the below products will benefit orphans around the world. For every $25 donation or more, receive one of her 12 books (A Cup of Mint Tea) filled with engaging stories and valuable lessons. Receive 2 books with every $50 donation. Receive a complete set of 6 books (Arabic or English) with every $100 donation. Donations above $150 receive an additional assortment of custom cards.

3. Join the Social Media  Wisdom and Impact Campaign  Record a one minute video of how Um Omar affected you or your family spiritually and mentally and submit it to info@imanjasim.org 


Life Lessons from UmOmar Social Media Campaign

Those who were touched by the life of Iman "UmOmar" Jasim undoubtedly have numerous memories of the wisdom and valuable lessons she imparted in her wake. After her sudden passing on December 18, 2019, countless stories have been shared of the lessons she taught and the example she set. Indeed, her wisdom and knowledge has preceded and proceeded her. These memorable stories have often been fondly shared following the words "علمتني ام عمر" or, "UmOmar taught me..."The blessed month of Ramadan is upon us, and so is the opportunity to maximize impact as well as reward.
