RAMADAN FEEDING PROGRAM 2020

My Name is

Saleh Bin Hussein from Uganda - Africa. I am a charity worker who has associated and interacted with many orphans from different backgrounds and culture. I have seen many challenges these orphans face during their life time. 75 percent of orphans stay with their relatives (guardians) and 25 percent are child headed families. Due to couple punishments forced onto these children, some end up going to streets to find their ways of survival. Most of them are denied their basic human rights like education, clothing, feeding among others. And as a result, some become beggars on streets, others end up in prostitution, others are raped, others involve in drug abuse and as a result they end up coupling with HIV/AIDS.

With few clear reasons seen above, I started this campaign to help raise funds to feed 180 Orphans and vulnerable children at Ar-Rahman Islamic School in Sironko. 

These children are of high values if catered for.

Help me raise 6,450 to feed 180 Orphans for 30 days during Ramadan.

Sahl ibn Sa’d reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Myself and the caretaker of an orphan will be in Paradise like this,” and he held his two fingers together. (Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 5659)

Abu Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “the person who strives on behalf of widows and poor is like those who strive in the way of Allah and like those who fast in the day and pray at night.”
