As Ramadan 2025 approaches, we are committed to providing over 40,000 Iftar and Suhoor meals to newly arrived asylum seekers in New York City. The need continues to grow, with thousands of asylum seekers—many from West and North Africa, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Turkey, and other nations—observing this sacred month while facing food insecurity

For those seeking refuge in our city, the challenge of finding halal, culturally appropriate meals is overwhelming. While many will turn to mosques, limited resources mean that not all will have access to meals during Suhoor (pre-dawn) and Iftar (sunset).
