What am I doing?

I'm taking part in Solace's Ramadan Revert Support Challenge 2024 to raise much-needed funds for Solace. 

About Solace

Solace is a charity that provides services for revert women in difficulty—regardless of whether they have been Muslim for two weeks or 20 years! We support them when they go through life’s problems alone, suffering in silence, or even no longer enjoying or believing in their Islam.

Where will your donations go?

• Ensuring revert women get the support they need in a way that is customized and unique to each woman.
• Providing emergency accommodation to women who are left without shelter from converting to Islam, and supporting women with their mental, emotional, and spiritual health.
• Helping service users through marital problems and mediation with non-Muslim relatives.
• Providing psychotherapy for victims of abuse through our psychotherapy support programme
• Guiding and supporting women in starting and running a business through our business training programme so they can have a means of livelihood.
• Teaching women how to manage their finances through our financial literacy programme.
• Providing financial aid for revert women in the UK, who are burdened by debt, or are struggling with their basic needs.
• Through the single mum sponsorship, we support single mums who are struggling to make ends meet for themselves and their children.
• Ensuring revert women, especially if living with non-Muslim families, are buried as Muslims through the burial fund…and so much more!
