Assalaamu'alaykum!

We are calling on YOU amazing individuals to support YOUR Masjid in building a Prophetic Mosque in the 21st Century.

I say it is YOUR Masjid, because, even if you have never visited or prayed here, I am sure you will feel right at home if you were to visit us. This is because Masjid Ansar caters for the needs of all individuals and works to revive the true role of the Masjid within the community, a real community space. 

For those unfamiliar, Masjid Ansar offers a variety of activities and programmes including support for forgotten causes, youth activities and educational classes for all ages. Even during these testing times, Masjid Ansar continues to support the community via online classes, and our Foodbank service continues to operate.

We are known for our coffee shop- Chapters Coffee Corner- attatched to the Masjid. A social enterprise initative, which offered a relaxed space enjoyed by our community, both Muslim and non-Muslim, (including drop-in sessions run by our local council and a studio for shows such as 'Coffee with Ayesha' on Islam Channel as well as 'Honest Tea Talk'). We held a regular Muslim Women's Reading Club, Story Nights, Open Mic events and various workshops to build skills.

Alhamdulillah, rennovation is underway, but we are truly in need of your support to help us complete this project and contiune the great work, Insha'Allah. The new build promises prayer facilities for both males and females, function hall and of course... Space for a coffee shop!
