we took oral care innovation to the next level by fusing our bristles with castor oil—a bio-based material chosen for its eco-friendly properties and ability to increase the longevity of Miswak's natural benefits.

About the Founder:

السلام عليكم 👋🏽 I’m Dr. Omer Elrayah, a practicing dentist with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Tufts University. I am also an instructor teaching clinical dentistry to 4th year Harvard, Tufts and Boston University dental students. My passion for oral health and sustainability led me to create Remo Brush—a product that bridges the gap between ancient wisdom and modern science.

I have spent years listening to my patients’ struggles with gum sensitivity, persistent cavities, and bad breath. It was clear to me that the traditional approach to oral care wasn’t enough. We needed a solution that was not only effective but also sustainable—a herbal remedy that targets the root of these issues, while also caring for our planet. 

Growing up in Sudan, I was deeply inspired by the benefits of Miswak, a practice rooted in my religious and cultural heritage. Mock-ups and Prototype

You’ll see images of pure miswak incorporated into our brush heads. However, due to the density and stiffness of miswak, traditional injection molding proved impractical. This challenge inspired us to develop an innovative solution. By fusing miswak with castor oil, we’ve created a unique blend that extends the longevity of the bristles, enhances their antibacterial and antifungal properties, and effectively combats cavity-causing bacteria. 

This breakthrough ensures a superior brushing experience with the benefits of miswak, while maintaining a gentle and effective cleaning action.
