Here are some Hadith about the Miswak inshaAllah to illustrate just how important it is to our Sunnah:

• The Prophet (PBUH) said: " The Miswak cleanses the mouth and pleases the Lord.’” [Al-Bukhari]

• The Prophet (PBUH) said: “Were it not for the fact that I did not want to make things too hard for my Ummah, I would have commanded them to use the Miswak at every time of prayer.” [Bukhari]
  
• Aisha (RA) said: “When the Prophet (PBUH)  entered his house, the first thing he would do was to use the Miswak.” [Muslim]
  
• The Prophet (PBUH) said: "How nice is the Miswak from the Olive Tree - which is a blessed tree. It is my Miswak and the Miswak of the Prophets who came before me." [Tabarani - Weak]
