What is #MyOpenIftar?​ 

We have turned to innovative means this Ramadan to ensure that the Ramadan spirit is kept alive, during an unprecedented time of physical distancing. Each person who signs up for a #MyOpenIftar pack will receive all the tools needed to host an Iftar experience at home, whilst being a part of the world's largest virtual Iftar, every day of Ramadan!

What is Ramadan Tent Project? 

Ramadan Tent Project is a non-profit organisation established in 2013 with a mission of bringing communities together to better understand each other. They are the organisers of the UK’s largest and award-winning community event in Ramadan, Open Iftar, which has welcomed over 100,000+ people since its inception. Host locations have included Southwark Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, Wembley Stadium, The British Library and Trafalgar Square. Ramadan Tent Project also delivers several other projects and programmes which include: The Welcome Ramadan Conference, Leadership Academy, Podcast Channel, Workshops and Training Seminars, and Research and Policy.

Any surplus donations will be used for future projects, events and operations of Ramadan Tent Project. LaunchGood collects a standard 5% platform fee along with a 3% credit card processing fee. Supporters have the option to cover the 8% in fees upon online checkout. ​
