Your urgent donations are needed for the most vulnerable in our community.

During the coming months, we will all be affected by the cold weather and coronavirus but the vulnerable in our community will be hit the hardest.   

The three of us (Sabiyah, Aqsa and Gulsoom) work as family support officers at BFT and we see firsthand the plight of vulnerable families and children please help us reach our target so we can support them through the winter months.

There are over 300 families in Bradford we work with that need your support today. 

The government has ended several programmes that provided relief to people impacted by the pandemic, including the furlough scheme and the £20 weekly universal credit uplift. The impact of income insufficiency has been exacerbated by inflation and the energy crisis. 

Bradford Foundation Trust is a registered charity that has worked with Asylum seekers, Refugees and other destitute people for the last 6 years and needs your support to provide food packs, winter clothing and cash grants to families who have nowhere else to turn to.  We are looking to support families who usually rely on shelters, soup kitchens and community organisations to survive. 

Our Winter Support will include:

1. Winter Basic Clothing (covers hat, gloves, scarf and socks) : Cost £10
2. Family Food Parcel : (covers small family for 1 week) Cost £25
3. Winter Essential Clothing (covers coat and shoes) : Costs £50
4. Hardship Grant (cash for bills and other essentials) : £250

Remember, we see the strength of a community by how it looks after its weak.   

Funds will be used as per the needs of the community.
