In the Name of GOD, The All-Encompassing in His Gracious Love, The Eternal in His Gracious Love 

“Indeed we belong to Allah, and to Him we are all returning” (Quran Baqara 2:156) 

The beloved mother, Anjum Fatima, of our beloved sister, companion, and friend Zeba Rizvi has transitioned Home on January 15, 2022. Anjum was a beloved auntie, grandmother, and woman of GOD. She reflected beautiful Loving Grace, of the most beautiful qualities of Allah, Most High.  She is known to be of the most delicate people one would cross paths with, delicate in figure, delicate in manners, delicate in words, delicate in heart. May she be rewarded with the most delicate handling of each of her affairs eternally. 

Upon her reception into the Real, the Eternal, we pray that she was welcomed by her beloved husband, Dr. Shafi Ulla Khan, into a great feast of paradise that no eye has ever seen. May Allah have beautiful magical mercy on them both, forgive all of their sins, exchange their shortcomings into blessings, and grant them both the most beautiful paradise without account. 

As a single community reflecting the Love of El Rahman, many of us have desired to support them both on their journey to Paradise. In this sentiment, we are raising money to make two wells for each of them  using the organization Baitulmaal. One solar powered well in Sindh, Pakistan is $1,200 with a life expectancy of 25 years. Solar panels have a 10 year warranty, but Baitulmaal will make sure to carry the load after that time. 100% of all funds raised will go to Zeba Rizvi to donate to Baitulmaal upon finalizing the choice. 

We ask Allah to bless both Anjum Fatima and Dr Shafi Ulla Khan with a royal reception, bliss, infinite joy, and protection from all harm. 

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُم الَّلهُمَّ ثَبِّتْهُم

O Allah, forgive them. O Allah, strengthen them.
اللهُـمِّ اغْفِـرْ لِـ أنجم و شفي وَارْفَعْ دَرَجَتََـهُم فِي المَهْـدِيّيـنَ ، وَاخْـلُفْـهُم في عَقِـبِهِ في الغَابِِـرِينَ، وَاغْفِـرْ لَنَا وَلَـهُم يا رَبَّ العـالَمـين، وَافْسَـحْ لَهُم في قَبْـرِهِ وَنَـوِّرْ لَهُم فِيهِ

O Allah, forgive parents Anjum and Shafi and elevate their station among those who are guided. Send them along the path of those who came before, and forgive us and them, O Lord of the worlds. Enlarge for them their graves and shed light upon them in it.

O Allah, place light in their hearts, light in their tongues, light in their hearing, light in their sight, light behind them, light in front of them, light on their right, light on their left, light above them and light below them. Place in their souls light. Magnify for them light, and amplify for them light. Make for them light, and make them light. Oh Allah, make for them a light in their graves… and a light in my bones. Increase them in light, increase them in light, increase them in light. Grant us light upon light.  

Ya Allah, for Umi Anjum Fatima, Dr. Shafi Ulla Khan, our beloveds that have passed while believing, and for us all, Allahumma Ameen Ya Arham El Rahimeen.
