Urgent Ramadan Fundraiser: Help Secure a Permanent Masjid for Our Community!

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

This Ramadan, our community here at Salaam Foundation, Braintree faces an urgent challenge. Our current masjid space, provided by the town, is now under severe restrictions. If we do not relocate by April, our ability to pray, gather, and run essential programs will be drastically limited.

A Permanent Home for Our Masjid

Alhamdulillah, we have an incredible opportunity to secure 5,250 sqft of masjid space in a larger 28,000 sqft building in Braintree—a space where we can pray freely, expand our programs, and build a lasting home for generations to come.

To secure this space, we need to raise $100,000 before April. Eventually, we aim to purchase the entire property (28,000 sqft on 2 acres with 110 parking spots) to serve as a permanent masjid, Insha’Allah.

📈 Step-by-Step Fundraising Milestones

To make our $100,000 goal feel more manageable, we are breaking it into smaller, achievable milestones. As we reach each stage, we will increase the goal to the following stage bringing us closer to securing our new masjid space, bi'ithniAllah. 

Phase 1: Secure the Lease – $50,000 (🔓 Unlocks the New Masjid!)

Phase 2: Essential Setup – $75,000 (🏗️ Establishing the Masjid)

Phase 3: Full Stability – $100,000 (🌙 A Permanent Home for Generations)

Our masjid is more than just a place for prayer—it is a center for learning, youth engagement, and community connection. Your donation will directly support:

📖 25 children and 5 sisters in our Qur’an School who are learning to read and memorize the Book of Allah.
🌟 40 children in Friday Funtasia, a program designed to instill Islamic values in our youngest community members.
👦👧 30 teenagers in our Boys & Girls Club, giving them a safe, Islamic environment to grow in faith.
🕌 100+ attendees for weekly Jumu’ah prayers, which will only grow in our new space.
🌙 250 Ramadan prayer attendees last year—a number we hope to increase in our new masjid, Insha’Allah.

Regular women's halaqa, public speaking workshops for kids, leadership training for Muslim youth and much more.
