By the time you have read this page, 11 people will have passed away from hunger.
This year, Iltizam aim to feed a total of 33,000 people across the world during the whole month of Ramadhan. These people desperately need our help with adequate food and nutrition as a result of the humanitarian situation in their countries that has progressively deteriorated for many years due to conflicts and war.
How Your Donations Will Help
Please help to fundraise our Sadaqah Ramadan Charity Programs to allow them to fulfil their obligations as Muslims.
We seek to provide aid in the following countries:
- Rohingya Refugees – In overcrowded camps in Cox Bazar, Bangladesh. Food aid for 1,000 families (enough for the whole month of Ramadan)
- Providing emergency food aid and fresh bread to bakeries across the world - 750 families in Western Asia
- In Remote Villages of Cambodia – 1,000 families (Food Aid for 1 month’s consumption)
- Malaysia – 1,000 families (Food Aid for 1 month’s consumption)
- Orphans in Poonch & Srinagar, Kashmir – Daily hot meals for breaking of fast – 10,800 packs (the whole month of Ramadan)
- Marginalized brothers and sisters In Nepal – 1,000 families (Food Aid for 1 month’s consumption)
’The Prophet (saw) said, “O Abu Dharr, when you cook a stew, put more water in the broth and take care of your neighbours“’. [Muslim]
As per the previous years, our Sadaqah Ramadhan Charity Program is to be carried out in the countries badly needing help, to feed the highly oppressed Rohingya [Bangladesh, Malaysia], to feed the needy and marginalized Muslims [India, Nepal, and Cambodia]; and not to forget the needy Malaysians too. Our charitable projects run from season to season and annually, too.
Why our Sadaqah Ramadhan Charity Program is extremely important
The Iltizam team has been working in the above-mentioned countries, some as far back as 2013. Many communities in the countries we are targeting find absolute difficulty not only putting food on the table not only in Ramadhan but on ANY day of the year.
The situation if allowed to continue into Ramadhan, will pose a BIG challenge to them and their families, especially to observe the mandatory fasting in Ramadhan where they need sufficient foods to have their suhoor (meal before dawn) and to break their fast at dusk.

After devastating floods in Pakistan last year, families are still without proper shelter. Our plan is to replace makeshift tents with proper mud houses for 200 families at USD 1200 each. We urgently seek your support for our Community Shelter Project in Nawabshah, Pakistan.
The background of the crisis is severe, with 33 million Pakistanis affected, and winter is approaching. We face a funding gap, but construction is set to begin in July. Your support can make a significant difference. A donation of USD 1200 can provide one family with a secure shelter.
