As bombs rain down on Syrian families while they sleep, we can go home to safety. As the hunger spreads in East Africa, we are blessed to have food in our stomachs. As children in Pakistan cry out for an education, we have free schools and libraries. As families face deadly diseases from drinking contaminated water, we have daily access to clean water.

During the blessed month of Ramadan, our fast serves as a reminder of the hardships that millions of people living in poverty endure daily. At Iftar time we are able to satisfy our hunger and thirst and replenish our bodies with the nutrients we need, whilst for many of our brothers and sisters, constant hunger and danger are a way of life.

Now more than ever, they need your generosity.

Together we can save and change lives across the world, and gather the special rewards of the last ten days – SubhanAllah! “The night of al-Qadr is better than a thousand months” (Qur’an 97:3).
