For the 4th year, we renew our work and efforts to provide inch Allah more than 20,000 cooked and packaged meals to be delivered to homes for families in need, and 500 Eid outfits for orphans and children of families in need. We are grateful for your support in the past years that enabled us to deliver 11,500 meals and 400 Eid outfits in 2020, 17,000 meals and 450 Eid outfits in 2021 and 20,150 meals and 500 Eid outfits in 2021.
Aida refugee camp is one of 3 camps in Bethlehem area, surrounded by illegal wall of expansion and annexation where lived about 6,200 people, two thirds of whom are under 24 years old, on a space of about 12 acres, in the zone the most exposed to tear gas in the world (This Palestinian camp is the community most exposed to tear gas in the world | Middle East Eye) with more than 50% of unemployment rate and very frequent incursions by Israeli occupation army. Your support is needed to inspire hope in such desperate conditions, to make our peop0le understand that they are not forgotten amidst all these tragedies around the world, that Ramadan is an amazing moment of solidarity, brotherhood, sharing, love and empathy. Your sadaqa or zakat will be positive to help with dignity and draw a smile on the faces of families with meals delivered to their homes and of children with their new outfits that they chose themselves for eid. Your contribution will help us provide 20,000 meals and 500 Eid outfits.
Alrowwad was established in 1998 by volunteers from Aida refugee camp, to inspire hope and promote life and provide opportunities for children, youth and women to express themselves in the most creative, positive, constructive and developmental ways to build peace within individuals to be peace builders in their community and beyond. Arts, Culture, education, professional training, with emergency response programs when needed. Supportive education program for children with trauma and learning difficulties, scholarships for university students, medical and psychosocial support and many other programs. Our activities go beyond Aida refugee camp, reaching about 20,000 direct beneficiaries in hard times, and beyond 50,000 direct beneficiaries with better financial support for our programs and activities. Twenty-Five years of work, and despite all the tragedies and hoplessness, We insisit that we don't have the luxury of despair but a steadfast hope that we can do better.
Our database of families in need is inclusive for families in Aida camp and neighboring areas in Bethlehem, that includes families in need, widows, elder people. The night before we call families to offer the meal and number of meals needed per family. Families are divided in categories depending on their situation: Very needy, receive meals every day, moderately needy twice- 3 times a week, lightly needy once a week or not needy. Each meal comes with rice, a quarter of a chicken or piece of meat, soup, dates (in some days with bread, yogurt and sweets). Each meal costs around 6 US$.
For Eid outfits, we deliver coupons that families can take their children to certain shops to choose what they want for a sum of about 30 US$/Child.

As Ramadan is departing us this year, the spirit remains. We are grateful to your generosity which is deeply appreciated. Eventhough we didn't reach our goal, your support helps us to respond to the needs as much as we can, and help those in need. By the grace of Allah and your support, we served more than 18000 meals, and hope to deliver about 500 eid outfits. We are thankful for those who donated for Kafalat Yateem - Fostering orphans. We are grateful to our partners Yafa Foundation, Muslim Charity in UK, Boumboum Team in France and all Friends of Alrowwad in the world who accompany us since 25 years of work, serving at least 15000 people in hard years and more than 50000 people in good years. We have by the grace of Allah and your support delivered more than 13,000 meals to homes of refugees and families in need in Aida camp and beyond in Bethlehem area. We printed the coupons for Eid outfits and prepared the lists for 500 children to enjoy Eid el-fitter with new clothes that they will pick and chose in the 2 shopping stores. We are grateful to you all, and to our partners who joined us Yafa Foundation and Muslim Charity in UK, and Boumboum team in France. We are also deeply grateful for those who support Kafalat Alyateem, for those who supported the sponsoring of an orphan for one month or for one year. May Allah reward you better in this life and life after. Yet, we are still more than 50% short to cover the cost.

After 16 days of the blessaed month of ramadan, we have been able by the grace of Allah and your support to deliver about 12000 coocked and packaged meals to families in their homes with respect and dignity, in Aida refugee camp and outside Aida refugee camp in Bethlehem area. We are preparing actually also for the Eid outfits coupons to be delivered to children of families in need and orphans, so they can choose what suits them for eid during the last week of Ramadan from 2 stores that we work with since so many years.
Incha Allah we can exceed the 20000 meals that we put as objective to deliver, and exceed the 500 Eid outfits as well taht we aim to deliver. Jazakum Allah khairan and may you be compensated for all the good that you help us accopmlish with you and be proud of what we achieve together.

Alhamdulillah, during the first week of this blessed month of Ramandan, we served more than 4,000 meals. We are deeply grateful for your support, and incha Allah with the help of Allah and your support we will exceed the 20,000 meals like last year.
