We have state of the art complex in Kharian, Gujrat, Pakistan it provides a free education for children that are deaf, mute, blind and have complex learning disabilities like autism. ​

Your Funding Will Support 300 Deaf Children

Our modern school for deaf has over 300 children and is the largest in Kharian. The classes range for Kindergarten to Class 14th and the mainstream school curriculum is followed. All classes are taught in sign language. Each year the children push the boundaries and excel against their peers. We have achieved a record result year on year of 100% pass rate in all board exams.

A School Fit For Special Children!

From humble beginnings in 1999, when Al Mudassar first opened its doors to 8 special children in a small rented house in Kharian, it has now become a centre of excellence for special children in rural Pakistan. Today, Al-Mudassar Trust situated near village Baharwal, Tehsil Kharian, serves over 500 children with different disabilities. The state of the art complex spreads over 6 hectares of land includes classrooms equipped with computers, modern audio testing, Lego laboratories, library, resource centre, mosque, calming rooms, physiotherapy rooms and beautiful grounds.

Over 50 children are being taught Braille and Hifz ul Quran at our unique masjid

Our school for blind provides visually impaired children with a holistic learning experience by not only providing them with an education but Hifz classes, Braille training, language classes and computer training. Some of our blind students have been gifted with beautiful voices and have formed the renowned Al Mudassar Sufi Academy where they sing religious songs and realise their potential. We currently have over 50 children enrolled.

Our specialist school for children with learning disabilities was opened in April 2015.

It currently has over 170 children enrolled with learning disabilities such as Downs Syndrome, Autism, ADHD and Cerebral Palsy. The children are assigned to one of our four psychologists who personally monitor and develop each child. Such children are often neglected in Pakistan as people do not know how to deal with their disabilities. These are intelligent children who simply need guidance and support to realise their strengths.
