Through the Back 2 School Giveaway program, with your support ICNA Relief has provided over 150,000 school bags to children across America who come from lower income households!

Alhamdulillah, we're blessed to be working local volunteers in Puerto Rico who are setting up an event and volunteers for us. We're so excited. We plan to distribute 500 backpacks with school supplies!

EDUCATION IS POWER!

Since 2009, throughout the months from July to September, the organization and its many divisions/branches have worked together to launch the Back-2-School Giveaway Program, where school backpacks filled with basic school supplies were given to children residing in low-income areas. The giveaway events took place in over 30 states so far, and over 150,000 school bags have been distributed since its initiation.

About ICNA Relief's Impact:

Last year, ICNA Relief helped make a difference in the lives of 300,000 people, both Muslim and Non-Muslim. Our programs range from 16 Women’s Transitional Homes and 31 Food Pantries across 13 states to 7 Free Health Clinics, Refugee Services, Muslim Family Services, Back to School Giveaways and a Disaster Relief Services with a visible Muslim identity. ICNA Relief has responded to over 53 natural and man-made disasters in the U.S., including major ones like Hurricanes Harvey, Maria, Sandy and Katrina. ICNA Relief has Refugee Services in 12 states across the country and our staff has helps over 18,000 refugees resettle annually.
