Ramadan is upon us and many of us have already started looking into healthy Iftar recipes,  planning our whole Ramadan effectively with spirituality, physical health and mental health in mind to get our minds, hearts and bodies prepared for this blessed month.

As we enjoy Ramadan, please bear in mind the many Muslims from around the world who are much less fortunate than us. Our daily experience will Insha'Allah, be eased by the good Suhur and Iftar we eat daily, whilst some may go without. 

However, many Muslims are unable to afford the nutritious food they need to sustain themselves after a hard day of fasting. These are your brothers and sisters who are struggling to provide for their children or families, they will be going hungry well beyond iftar time. 

The Prophet (SAW) said, "Whoever feeds a person breaking his fast will earn the same reward as him, without anything being lessened from the reward of the fasting person". (Tirmidhi)

Each Iftar pack can support an average family of 6 throughout the whole of Ramadan. We do not endeavour to be the cheapest in the industry, we strongly try to provide the most effective food pack that will ultimately be their only source of nourishment for the whole month! 

The contents of each pack are: 

40kg Rice

3ltr Soya bin oil

3kg Potato

3kg Onion

500g Garlic

3kg Gram(Chola)

2kg Salt

2kg Sugar

2kg Dates

2kg Lentil

The food that nourishes our brethren and the duas whispered from their weary lips may be the key to our entry into Jannah. Insha'Allah
