My name is Mohammed AlBasheer, and I’m reaching out with sincere hope and humility.

I’m a full-time college student struggling with severe, untreated ADHD. I’ve recently been diagnosed, and it finally gave me clarity, but also confirmed just how much I’ve been fighting alone. My symptoms have made it incredibly hard to function at school, hold a job, or build stability. Even with all my efforts, I keep falling behind, and I’ve come to realize: I can’t do this alone anymore.

I’m seeking ADHD coaching through Shimmer, a program that pairs people like me with trained professionals who specialize in helping neurodivergent individuals manage life more effectively. This is because they will tailor their help to me specifically, using strategies, and techniques that help with my specific case of impaired executive dysfunction. With their help, I can learn to organize my thoughts, meet deadlines, stay consistent, and eventually get back on my feet financially.

Alhamdulillah, I was granted a discounted rate for my first month of coaching, bringing the cost down to $172.50. I’ve set the goal to $200 to help cover processing fees and because LaunchGood has a minimum disbursement threshold of $200. If this amount isn’t reached, they cannot release the funds, and donations would be refunded. Thank you for understanding, and for being part of my journey.

I’ve tried many other avenues: scholarships, jobs, government assistance, but so far, they haven’t worked out. I’m still trying. But I know one strong first step would change everything. Even one month of coaching could help me build enough routine and clarity to earn income and regain balance.

This isn't a donation toward luxury, this is a lifeline. It’s a cause I hope to dedicate myself to, helping others like me out of the same depths that I’m trying to climb out. However, I cannot do this, if I cannot even help myself. I urgently ask all of you my brothers and sisters, to help me reach that goal.
