Alhamdulillah! By the grace of Allah (SWT) and the unwavering support of our community, we have officially signed the contract to purchase the land for the new SMCC Mosque!

Our current space can no longer hold our growing congregation.

• ✅ Overflow every Ramadan, with people praying outside on tarps due to limited space
• ✅ Growing demand in our community- one of the most rapidly growing Muslim communities in America

After over a year of searching, planning, and negotiating with the City to get zoning approval, we have acquired 3.3 acres at:

11611 Kirby Commons Dr., Pearland, Texas, 77584,  just minutes from our current location. 

Now, we stand at a defining moment: raising $1.5 million this Ramadan to begin construction!

SMCC began as a small gathering of dedicated individuals with a shared vision: to create a space for worship, education, and service that would unite the community. What started as a modest effort in a small space has now flourished into an expansive community. A community of less than 100 people has grown to thousands. People see the beauty of this community, and have been moving to Pearland to be a part of it.

Over the years, SMCC has grown not just in numbers, but in impact—offering religious programs, social services, youth engagement, and community outreach. The strength of this community is built on the dedication of its members, whose generosity and commitment have transformed a small local initiative into a regional center of connection and spiritual growth.

The New Mosque: Expanding Services, Deepening Impact

With this remarkable growth comes a pressing need: a permanent, purpose-built masjid and community center that can truly serve the needs of our expanding congregation. Our current space is overflowing, especially during Jumu’ah, Taraweeh, and major events. We have had to create overflow prayer areas, adjust programming to accommodate demand, and constantly seek creative solutions to meet the needs of our members.

With the completion of the new mosque, SMCC will be positioned to serve the community in ways never before possible. This new space is more than just a place of worship—it will be a comprehensive center for spiritual, educational, and social enrichment.
