A blessing to a child is their parents. They provide them with the safe necessities to live a healthy and conducive life. However, according to UNICEF, there were an estimated 140 million orphans globally in 2020. This number includes children who have lost one or both parents due to various reasons such as conflict, disease, poverty, or natural disasters. Sadly, for millions of orphans worldwide, this vision of the future remains a distant hope. But within the confines of your generosity lies the power to transform their world.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, ‘The one who cares for an orphan and myself will be together in Paradise like this’, and he (saw) held his two fingers together to illustrate. [Bukhari]

The number of children Orphaned in Gaza has been on a huge rise. About 47% of the Population is children. These children are suffering immensely, losing access to all resources as well as losing their parents during these difficult times. Kids are trying save each other, help each other and we need to take on that responsibility to protect them.  

Child Sponsorship and Orphan Care

The recipe for a child’s happiness? Play time, friends, home, and school. Without the warm comforts of a home and without school where a child learns and plays, half a child’s happiness is erased.
