SPOT ACADEMY FOR GIRLS

During the beautiful month of Ramadan this year, we have one extra goal. That is to raise funds to build a 'Girl's School & a Multi-purpose Centre'.

Education is something we expect, but unfortunately, for some girls in Gambia, it is only a dream. With your generosity, Spot Academy for Girls will be a day school which will provide free education for girls from the local community between the ages of 6 – 15 years old.

With your help, they will have the opportunity to study English, Maths, Science, Arabic, Quran and numerous other subjects.

Our aim is to provide them with the platform where the school can help them strive to become outstanding individuals who, God-willing, will one day play a vital role in their dynamic societies. The school and it’s facilities will also hold various youth clubs, skills based courses and wellness sessions to serve the wider community. This isn’t possible without you. It takes a simple step to start something extraordinary, let this be it. Together, we can achieve anything.

The first word that Allah revealed to the Prophet Muhammad SAW was “Read”. Now it’s our chance to give these girls a chance to read and learn.

Education has a phenomenal impact on a community and is one of the main foundations for sustainable development. It is the duty of every Muslim to seek knowledge and learn. Islam affirms the right to education for all without gender discrimination. Through the Islamic principle of charity, Muslims can come together to support educational programmes to empower the disadvantaged.

Islam has always encouraged the acquisition of knowledge and how doing so will benefit humanity. Just imagine a world without doctors.

About us

SPOT Project is a legacy-based charity that advocates development of the new generation in Africa and around the world. We focus on 3 main aspects: Education, Food & Water. Spot Project aims to illuminate the hearts, faces and minds of underprivileged youth around the world, starting in The Gambia.

We aim to build schools and learning centres through which we can run courses, seminars and training programs to equip the youth with essential skills and the education they need to make a better future and to motivate those that will one day look up to them. We work towards making leaders that will give back to the community once they have taken what they need and transformed their own lives.
