Ramadan is the month of giving, charity, and the month of selflessness. It is about feeling for others – their needs and hunger, and thinking beyond ourselves. This is a month for spiritual cleansing and strengthening and an opportunity to renew your relationship with Allah.

For over 17 years, Wafa house has devoted all of its time, resources, and money to assisting clients in need. Our small team is able to help hundreds of new and returning clients. In fact, in 2021, we assisted 1789 families and 1555 children.

This Ramadan, we kindly ask you to continue your support for us, the families we serve, and our communities. The FREE services that we offer our clients are essential to maintaining a healthy and strong community. In 2021, Wafa House witnessed a 75% increase in domestic violence cases compared to 2020. Wafa House has been an advocate for those who are abused and assaulted.

 Our bilingual staff ensures our clients receive the help they cannot receive anywhere else because of cultural and language barriers. In 2021, we had disturbed $46,275 in food vouchers and $63,688 in financial assistance, and 22809 diapers for babies. 

Now more than ever, the disparities our people are facing are affecting their mental health and overall quality of life. Integrating social services, legal services, and mental health services is essential to ensure our individuals and families receive the appropriate help to cope with their struggles and hardships. Our FREE counseling services assist our clients in coping with their day-to-day stress and problems, anxieties, depression, and other mental illnesses, while also providing FREE social services and FREE legal advocacy
