We are nearly there! Alhamdulillah x1000. You’ve made it within reach for the mosque to finish completion of phase 1.

What is phase 1? Phase 1 will enable 2000 worshippers inside the mosque. Notice how it says worshippers and not brothers. This is because the new mosque will finally have a mezzanine level for our mothers and sisters! ALLAHU AKBAR. There will be a separate entrance and floor on the mosque just for them! This is truly a new era in our community where EVERYONE will have a place to pray and attend high quality classes on Qur’an, Fiqh, aqidah and much more. We will no longer be forced to pray outside in the cold on rainy days or burn in the summer days!

This is your future.You are not just building a mosque. You are building a cultural centre. You are building your future. You are building your community for yourself and the youth.

When we fall on tough times where do we find comfort? We go to people we respect; these are our family and friends who are most closest to Allah. They give the best advice. “Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest." (13:28) In the future our younger siblings, our nephews and nieces , our children will go through their life journeys and they will also be the advice givers or advice takers. We need this mosque so we can have a centre of knowledge. A place where we can fill our hearts with peace. A place where we can cultivate the leaders of the future. Today you are giving us your donations (In-shā-Allāh), in future this donation will surely touch your lineage once more with its positive affect. Allah works in mysterious ways and as generous as you are, he is most giving. May Allah bless you and enable you to spread this message about Stepney Shahjalal Mosque and Cultural Centre far and wide In-shā-Allāh!
