Abrish Bilal 's Story

Four-year-old Abrish, a resident of Islamabad, was born with congenital sensorineural hearing loss. When Abrish was born, her parents were overjoyed and eagerly awaited hearing their daughter’s first words. However, their joy soon turned to heartbreak when they learned that she had congenital sensorineural hearing loss. The news shattered their dreams of watching their daughter grow up surrounded by the sounds of the world. Determined to help their daughter, they took her to the hospital, where the doctor recommended cochlear implant surgery. 

The family’s financial situation has only added to their despair. Her father works long hours as a laborer, earning a meager income of PKR 25,000 per month. The cost of the life-changing cochlear implant surgery that she needs is far beyond their means, leaving them feeling helpless and hopeless.
