Alhamdulillah, Alhidaya Croydon has been a beacon of learning, spirituality, and community:

• Accommodating 400 students in our Madrassah, teaching Quran, Seerah, and Islamic etiquettes.
• Guiding 24 students to become Hafiz-ul-Quran, with 75 others on their memorisation journey.
• Celebrating our youth and their achievements through community events, such as family BBQs, fostering pride and joy in their Islamic growth.

Despite our efforts, our current space cannot meet the growing demand:

• Over 200 students remain on our waiting list, eager to join the Madrassah.
• During peak times, we are forced to turn people away due to space limitations.

To address this need, Alhamdulillah, we have secured the neighbouring property for £600,000 as part of a £1 million project to expand our facilities. This expansion will:

• Build a dedicated Hifz institution, nurturing the next generation of Hafiz.
• Provide more capacity for the Masjid, enabling more of the community to pray and learn together.

What We’ve Achieved So Far:

• Collected £100,000.
• Received pledges totalling £229,219.

Today, on GivingTuesday, we are aiming to raise £50,000 to help us meet our fundraising goals and to increase our chances of winning financial prizes through LaunchGood’s GivingTuesday contest that will be added to the Campaign.
