Water is one of the most essential elements of life, and it is crucial that every individual has access to safe and clean water. Sadly, millions of people worldwide, including many Muslim communities, do not have access to this basic necessity. As Muslims, we are taught the importance of charity and the virtues of giving, and one of the best ways to fulfil this obligation is by donating to causes that provide access to clean water.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) once said: "The best form of charity is giving water to drink" (Sunan Ibn Majah). This hadith highlights the significance of providing water to those in need and how this act of kindness is highly esteemed in Islam. In fact, in many Muslim countries, water is considered a precious commodity, and its scarcity is a source of great concern. Therefore, it is our duty as Muslims to help alleviate the suffering of those who lack access to clean water.

As Muslims, we are encouraged to be charitable, and donating to water causes is an excellent way to fulfil this obligation. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Charity does not decrease wealth" (Sahih Muslim). This hadith reminds us that giving charity is not a burden but a blessing, and it can bring us closer to Allah (SWT) and increase our wealth and blessings.

We as Muslims have a duty to help those in need and alleviate their suffering. Supporting our Gift of Water campaign is an excellent way to fulfil this obligation and make a positive impact on the lives of those who lack access to clean water. Let us remember the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the virtues of charity and give generously to these causes.

Water is a necessity in life, having access to clean water is a mission in many communities in Ghana and in Bangladesh. Ramadan is a blessed month in which Allah (swt) multiplies our good deeds. Allah has made us fortunate we can have easy access to clean Water, let us invest in our Akhirah in this Ramadan through providing easy access to clean water in those deprived communities.

Why Am I Raising Funds For ‘Gift of Water’ For Gift Foundation?

Gift Foundation aims to provide clean water in Ghana and in Bangladesh, many communities in those countries struggle to access clean water. It is the hope of Gift of Knowledge to provide this necessity in this blessed month of Ramadan.
