Br Syed Naeem Hussaini was a beautiful 44 year old brother that passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 / 30th of Shabaan 1444 due to cancer. He was a dutiful son, devoted husband, loving father and dedicated brother and friend to many far and wide. He leaves behind his wife and 4 young children; Safa-18, Hamid-15, Deena-12, and Simrah-6.

We at the Islamic Society of Northwest Suburbs (ISNS) in collaboration with Islamic Center of Naperville (ICN) Community would like to help secure the future of his family including all his children. Any and all funds will be used towards his immediate family including a school and college fund for all four children.

Br Naeem was a gentle soul and a genuine person who embodied the Quran in every way. He is someone who really loved the Quran and was a beautiful reciter of the Quran. His character and speech were remarkable and exemplified the Quran and Sunnah. His loss is devastating for his family, friends, and the community at large.

Many know Br. Naeem through his association with ISNS during its early days, and then through ICN where he was a dedicated member, muazan for Fajr prayer and also lead the tafseer every day after fajr and Khatirahs during Ramadan. He was the vice-principal for Al-Falah Academy (ICN Weekend School) and created the school mascot, Asad the Lion, led the Boy Scouts and was instrumental in launching the annual ICN Quran competition and coordinated many youth programming. His beautiful smile, infectious laugh, kind manners, and his unwavering faith in Allah will truly be missed. It’s amazing to see how so many different parts of the community are affected, brothers and sisters, young and old, those who met him just once and those who never had the chance yet were impacted by this beautiful soul.

The idea for this campaign was generated by a group of Naeem's close friends/cousins, the vast majority of us who have known him since childhood or our teenage years and have maintained ties with him throughout adulthood and especially during these last critical months of his life.
