The Islamic Centre of Quebec (ICQ), established over 50 years ago, was the first masjid to be built in Quebec and only the second in Canada. ICQ currently serves more than 75 000 muslims in our community and financially supports many masjids in the greater Montreal area with a reach of over 250 000 muslims. To accommodate the demands of the growing muslim population, our masjid has started an expansion project to not only allow room for more worshippers but also to cater to the needs of the local community.

Through the generous donations of our benefactors we have been able to complete the first 2 phases of the project.

With the support of our local community, we have made great strides with the expansion project, however we are still in need of donations to reach our goal. For this reason, we are requesting the generosity of our brothers and sisters all across the globe to help us complete phase 3 expansion of ICQ.

We are currently in phase 3 of our expansion. With a total estimated cost of 2 million, we are requesting 990k to have the main hall of the masjid functional by the end of June 2021. Please help us by donating generously, and Inshallah it will be a continuing sadaqa jariyah for you.
