Three young Palestinian men in Burlington, Vermont. Hisham Awartani, student at Brown University, Kinnan Abdalhamid, pre-med student at Haverford College, and Tahseen Ali Ahmad, student at Trintity College, were all shot on their way to a family dinner simply for being Palestinian.

We are expressing collective outrage and condemnation in response to a recent potential hate crime that has shaken our community. Such acts have no place among us, and we stand united against any form of discrimination, bigotry, or violence.

Our thoughts are with the victim and their family during this challenging time. We are committed to supporting them in every way possible. No one should ever feel unsafe or targeted because of their identity.

This disturbing incident is not isolated. Just six weeks ago, 6-year old Wadea Al-Fayoume was stabbed 26 times in a hate crime in Illinois. The rising tide of hate crimes against Palestinians demands our immediate attention and action.

Your Support Matters: Medical Aid and Rehabilitation

We are working with the families on launching a crowdfunding campaign to provide crucial support for the victims. Your contributions will go towards covering their medical expenses, and rehabilitation needs, and ensuring they receive the care necessary for their recovery.

Uniting them with family: Living Expenses and Additional Costs for the Temporary Relocation 

Besides your assistance for medical support, we'll also require help in facilitating the travel of their parents from Ramallah. This involves coordinating tickets, arranging accommodation, and covering additional living expenses during the recovery period for the three young Palestinians. the families will incur many additional costs during this hard time, your contribution will help the family temporarily relocate and pay for additional expenses.
