In celebration of Ramadan, the 8 for Aid team is back to do charity work during this upcoming blessed month. This time, we are focusing on helping the distribution of essential items in the form of food, clothing, and equipment to the needy in several areas throughout Malaysia.

Our target this time are people from the B40 group where their household income is RM 3000 and below. With the help of several of our local representatives scattered throughout Malaysia, we aim for these donations to be distributed in many selected area to give the fund aid.

Although Malaysia has moved into an endemic phase, the economic situation of the people has not recovered yet. The rising cost of living, as well as employment opportunities that have not yet improved, cause these B40 groups to be increasingly burdened. Nevertheless, they are still able to get by. Although, we do have to beg in order for these people to be helped, as they have endured a lot of hardships in the years that have passed.

Join us this Ramadan. Let's share our rizq and lend a helping hand in making the Syukur Ramadan 2022 project a success this year. Every donation that contributed to this campaign, even a small amount, will still be distributed to those in need. Because sharing rizq is an obligation, right?

Fasting in the month of Ramadan is a noble and demanded act of worship. The same goes for giving sadaqah in this barakah-filled month.

“َعَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللهً عَنْهُ قَالَ سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيُّ الصَّوْمِ أَفْضَلُ بَعْدَ رَمَضَانَ فَقَالَ “شَعْبَانُ لِتَعْظِيمِ رَمَضَانَ” قِيلَ “فَأَيُّ الصَّدَقَةِ أَفْضَلُ” قَالَ ”صَدَقَةٌ فِي رَمَضَانَ

Anas RA narrated that :
The Prophet was asked which fast was most virtuous after Ramadan? He said: "Sha'ban in honor of Ramadan" He said: "Which charity is best?" He (pbuh) said: "Charity in Ramadan."

It might seem small, but a bountiful reward awaits when we give food and sadaqah to people who are fasting in the month of Ramadan.
