In 2020, studies showed that over 38 million Americans (11.8 percent) lived in households that struggled against food insecurity, or lack of access to an affordable, nutritious diet.
MAUSA is launching a “Hunger Truck” initiative to help combat this. The food truck will be based in Washington D.C and will require $85,000 to bring to fruition. Each meal will cost $6, and our aim is to feed 1,000 people every month.
A lack of nourishing food has a detrimental impact on a person’s success and wellbeing, but together, we can work towards preventing that.
