As of March 4th, 2024, nearly 2.2 million of the Palestinian population are estimated to be internally displaced, including people who have been displaced multiple times. The people of Gaza need your support.

Here’s what we’ve done so far, thanks to your support:

• Delivered 10,000 hot meals
• Delivered over 6000 food packs, that equates to 2.8 million meals
• Delivered 1500 packs of fruits and vegetables
• Delivered 800 frozen chickens
• Delivered over 25,600 litres of water
• Delivered 1500 blankets 
• Delivered over 3000 hygiene and dignity kits
• Delivered 20,000 medical kits
• Delivered over 600 tents for shelter rehabilitation
• Created mobile medical teams consisting of 20 surgeons, doctors, and 100 volunteers

Anas ibn Malik reported: A man said, “O Messenger of Allah, should I tie my camel and trust in Allah, or should I leave her untied and trust in Allah?” The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Tie her and trust in Allah.” [Sunan al-Tirmidhī 2517]

The people of Palestine are experiencing indescribable hardships. We raise our hands in du’a to alleviate their suffering, while also tying our camels and doing what we can. With your support, we aim to provide medical care to pregnant women, hygiene kits, medical kits, food and water supply, shelter kits, and winter relief kits.

$100 CAD: Can provide food and water, medication, hygiene kits, offer pre and post natal support kits to expecting mothers

$500 CAD: Can provide a shelter kit for a family (tents, blankets, weather-proofing)

$1000 CAD: Can provide emergency surgeries, safe deliveries for women, medical devices such as wheelchairs, hearing aids, crutches

$10,000 CAD: Can provide 10 families with shelter kits (tents, blankets, weather-proofing) and rehabilitation of a medical facility

$20,000 CAD: Can support 1 family through provision of a shelter container made out of sustainable materials

• Step 1: Supplies are procured and delivered into Penny Appeal's warehouse in Cairo where we pack all the boxes that will be delivered.
• Step 2: Packed supplies from the Penny Appeal warehouse go to the Egyptian Red Crescent warehouse where they will undergo an inspection to ensure all supplies that are declared to be delivered are packed and loaded.
• Step 3: Trucks are then sent to a checkpoint next to Rafah crossing, where the supplies will undergo a secondary inspection.
• Step 4:  Once the supplies pass the secondary inspection, they are then put into a queue to enter Gaza through Rafah.
• Step 5: Once inside Gaza, Palestinian Red Crescent takes over and then distributes the supplies via our team on the ground in Gaza.

About Mansour Shouman

Mansour Shouman, a Palestinian Canadian citizen journalist, has been a steadfast voice from the heart of Gaza since October 7th. Despite being offered the opportunity to leave by both Israeli and Canadian authorities, Mansour chose to remain in Khan Younis, dedicated to providing daily, on-the-ground reports in English, showcasing the realities of life amidst conflict. His compelling reporting style and unwavering optimism have garnered widespread attention on social media platforms, propelling him to online stardom. Mansour's presence on various media outlets including Al Jazeera, RT News, BBC, Fox News, ABC News, Sky News, CBC, CNN, and Global News has amplified the voices of Gazans worldwide.

About Sh. Ibn Muhammad Al Riyashi

Dr. Azzam is a graduate from Al Azhar University (BA Islamic Sciences and Arabic Studies) and a Visiting Imam at the Holy Masjid Al Aqsa in Jerusalem. He holds a masters and a PhD in mechanical engineering. specializing in energy sustainability and smart cities from Ontario Tech University, where he is also a Governor on their Board of Governors Dr Azzam is also the CEO of Polaris Energy Sustainability Solutions. Dr Azzam is a Research Fellow with the International Maqasid Institute, Instructor at the Islamic Centre of Oshawa, and a Board member of Al Azhar Academy of Canada. He is a Project Management Professional, a Certified Energy Manager with the Association of Energy Engineers. He is actively involved in the local and wider community as a dedicated volunteer, founder and board member in several non-profit organizations across Canada.
