“And Allah has made for you from your homes a place of rest [.....]” (Qur’an, Surah 16: Verse 80)

A home is very important to ensure that we stay safe and protected from the outside and for us to be able to rest in a dignified way.

But more than 1 billion people worldwide lack adequate housing, causing widespread homelessness, risk of exploitation, overcrowding and other serious issues.

But with your help, I want to change this and help 100s of families to have a safe place to call home.

That’s why, this Ramadan, with Salam Charity, I am helping to build semi-permanent homes in Indonesia and Bangladesh, and also helping to build permanent homes in Syria and Pakistan.
