If we're hungry, we can order food, buy food or eat something we have at home. But imagine not being able to have a single scrap of food available. Nothing for you to eat, nothing that you can buy.

People around the world have that as their reality in the 21st century!

Food is an essential necessity to our lives, giving us energy, keeping us healthy and even protecting us from illnesses.

But more than 690 million people still go hungry, causing stunting, severe malnutrition, lowered immune systems and many more issues, including the loss of life. 

Those living in rural areas are worst affected, due to extreme weather, seasonal changes, droughts and other natural causes. This means that men are often forced to leave their homes to work elsewhere, in order to earn enough money to buy food.

In some countries, such as Lebanon, due to refugees’ inability to work, refugee families have to sell their possessions to afford small amounts of food or be forced to borrow, amounting to unaffordable debt.

What am i doing?

I want to change this and help 1000s of families to be fed, safe from hunger.

That’s why, this Ramadan, I am helping to provide food parcels to families in Yemen, Syria, Pakistan, Somalia, Bangladesh and Lebanon (Syrian & Palestinian refugees).
