Muhammad, a child arrived to Al-Ikhaa Hospital in northern Syria, in a very poor health condition, suffering from severe diarrhea and vomiting. The doctors did their efforts and provided him with the necessary treatment but discovered that the child had cholera.

Immediately, Muhammad was sent to SEMA Cholera Treatment Center, and he is now receiving the necessary treatment, and he still needs your help.

One tomato was enough to kill the life of Mr. Ghassan Halabiyeh in northern Syria, after he was infected with cholera and his health condition deteriorated immediately, and over the next hours, he was taken to SEMA Cholera Treatment Center and given oral and intravenous solutions.

Ghassan's health has improved, and he is awaiting his graduation soon, but what about the thousands of suspects and confirmed ones, especially since agricultural crops and vegetables are a large part of the food basket in northern Syria, and with the absence of clean water sources, this food turns into a disease in the literal sense.

Jana, Muhammad and Youssef, three children, arrived at the SEMA Cholera Treatment Center in very poor health, so the doctors immediately began treatment procedures for the children.

Mr. Ayman, the children's father, says: "We got infected because of the contaminated food, and I almost lost my children because of cholera. I thank the donors who donated to establish this center, as well as the doctors who started treating the children immediately."

After two days of treatment, and the doctors exerted all their efforts, the three children are in good condition, but they are still receiving treatment.

Unfortunately, bad news continues as cholera reaches to 418 confirmed cases and 12 deaths in north of Syria. What further complicates the matter is that the largest number of the cases is among children as they mix with others in their school desks and in the playgrounds. Your donations can rescue those little souls from certain death that could occur if urgent medical intervention is not made.

“If the child does not receive treatment immediately, she will die,” Malak’s mother told us upon her arrival at the SEMA Cholera Detection Center.

The child Malak 5-years-old faced death, she vomited repeatedly, and then she was taken to a hospital, which could not treat her. After that, she arrived at one of the SEMA Cholera Detection Centers in northern Syria, and she was about to die.

"Without your efforts, Malak would not have been able to live," says her mother.

For three days, the medical staff took all the necessary procedures, and the child Malak remained under observation until she went home with her family in the best condition.

In a difficult condition, the 10-month-old child, Muhammad Saqqati, arrived at the cholera treatment center in northern Syria, where symptoms of dehydration and extreme fatigue are evident.
