When winter comes, it strikes hard. Those who do not have the luxury of preparing for it, suffer. The most vulnerable are the women and children whose bodies have to work harder to maintain the warmth needed to survive and function. 

Over 35% of the population in Bangladesh survive on less than $1 a day and can’t afford to pay for medical care or the resources they need to get through in one piece. They can do nothing but wait, either for the cold to take them, or your heart to extend a warm helping hand.
