"If by the end of the year 7 billion is not paid off, the house of the Quran will be CLOSED!!" So what is the fate of these Orphaned Children who memorised the Quran??
Since 2015, Orphaned Quran House wants to print 5 million memorized Al-Quran without expecting anything in return. Until now, there are 4.815 students who have studied at Orphaned Quran House with full scholarships. However, now they are threatened that they cannot continue their studies because the owner wants to sell the building.
Home owners do not want to extend the use rights Waqf of the Building and do not want to be leased. The home owner simply sold the house and bought it for $500,000. In 8 months, September 2021, the lease period ends, and children who memorize the Quran are threatened with losing their place of study.
For that, we want to fight to save the Orphaned Quran House so that children can continue to learn the Quran. We are eager to buy this building with the following details:
To finance operational costs we rely on the kindness of donors and sponsors. We don't want to stop printing kids memorizing the Quran. But we realized we couldn't be alone.
What are the activities in the orphanage Quran house?
1. They wake up daily at 2am for Qiyamullail, recitation and ziyadah Al-Quran.
2. In the morning they do gymnastics.
3. Starting from 8 am to 5 pm they study for skill development such as; learn media & journalism, learn to cook, learn to program and other skills.
4. At night they memorize and rest.
إِذَا مَاتَ الْإِنْسَانُ انْقَطَعَ عَمَلُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ ثَلَاثَةٍ مِنْ صَدَقَةٍ جَارِيَةٍ وَعِلْمٍ يُنْتَفَعُ بِهِ وَوَلَدٍ صَالِحٍ يَدْعُو لَهُ
"If a person dies, his practice will be cut off except for three things, namely: almsgiving, the knowledge that is used, or the prayer of a pious child."
(HR. Muslim no. 1631)

The current condition of the Orphaned Quran House
In this Covid-19 Condition, it requires orphans to live in tents because the donations collected are not enough for us to be able to buy the house and time to stay at home will run out this month.
Because of the limited space the tent became a multipurpose place for orphans to sleep, study and practice, pray and eat.
We will divert the donations that have been collected yesterday to build an orphaned Quran house, and we still really need a lot of funds for construction.
We still really need your help and kindness to be able to build a training place and learn the Quran for orphans.
