Connected by humanity, strengthened by Zakat. Give your Zakat this Eid al Adha.

Your Zakat will not just fulfill a duty this year, it will rewrite the stories of those forced to flee. 100% of your Zakat will be delivered as cash assistance to displaced families for food, water, and more. Please donate today.

“My children go to school and do not eat anything until 5 pm,"  says Wafaa, a displaced Yemeni mother.

After losing her husband, Wafaa had to care for her family completely on her own.

“My young son helps take care of our family. Boys his age should be in school. But my poor son never went to school, he has to work to provide for his family.”

Wafaa is worried about how to provide for her children during Ramadan.

I am troubled to think Ramadan will start and I will have no food for them…”

“I am patient, and I accept God’s will.”

The blessed days in Yemen are unimaginably difficult. Amid one of the world's worst humanitarian crises, hunger remains a daily struggle for millions.

Families are forced to skip meals or reduce portions drastically just to survive.

This Eid al Adha, UNHCR invites you to help families in Yemen, including many struggling mothers like Wafaa.

Your Help Matters:

With over 4.5 million people displaced, families are torn apart and facing increasing risks. Climate disasters, such as floods, have disrupted livelihoods and threatened food security. Women and children, the most vulnerable, urgently need assistance.

Yemen's crisis—one of the world's worst humanitarian emergencies—continues to face extreme challenges, even as global attention shifts to other emergencies. Despite more than 50% of Yemen's population needing humanitarian aid this year, only 21% of the required funds have been secured.

How You Can Help:

During these blessed days, your Zakat can be a lifeline for Yemeni refugees through UNHCR’s Refugee Zakat Fund, providing cash assistance for essential needs such as food, water, and more.

No contribution is too small. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of Yemeni refugees, bringing hope to those in need.

About UNHCR Refugee Zakat Fund:

The Refugee Zakat Fund is a trusted, compliant, and effective Zakat distributor.

Since its inception, over 8 million beneficiaries have been assisted with Zakat and Sadaqah through the Refugee Zakat Fund.

Zakat contributions received via UNHCR’s Refugee Zakat Fund are kept in a dedicated interest-free bank account, strictly used for Zakat-compliant (cash or goods) distribution activities in identified countries, targeting eligible displaced populations and host communities. Endorsed by 17 fatwas, the Fund is subject to rigorous governance and oversight, ensuring transparency at every step from contributing to delivery of assistance.

Why are displaced persons eligible for Zakat?

Most of the the world’s displaced population falls under at least four of the eight categories of Zakat recipients mentioned in Qur’an 9:60, including:
• Al Fuqara – (the Poor)
• Al Masakeen – (the Needy)
• Al Gharimin – (the Debtors)
• Abna’ Al Sabeel – (the Stranded Travellers)

Last Nights: One act of kindness is worth a lifetime

Dear Donor,

As we enter the most blessed nights of Ramadan, we are reminded of the mercy, compassion, and generosity that define this special time. And what better way to do so than by easing the suffering of our brothers and sisters – refugees who have been forced to flee their homes, leaving everything behind in search of safety.

Today, we recall the profound words of the Hadith: "The believers, in their mutual kindness, compassion, and sympathy, are like one body; when one limb aches, the whole body reacts with sleeplessness and fever."

Thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, some families have already received assistance from Zakat and Sadaqah contributions.

But our efforts for the remaining most vulnerable families, including widows, orphans, and the elderly, who still urgently need our help, must continue. They long to spend these blessed nights with the peace they deserve.

Give Zakat now and seize the blessings of the last nights.

Through the Refugee Zakat Fund, 100% of your Zakat reaches those most in need without any deductions.

In these last blessed nights, the best ones of the year, we have the chance to make a lasting impact. Let us end this Ramadan with some of the deeds Allah (SWT) loves most: charity, mercy, and compassion.

May He accept your fasting, prayers, and all your good deeds. May He reward your generosity abundantly and place blessings in your wealth and family.

Dedicate Your Zakat to those most in need.
