Who are we?

Ebrahim College was established in London in 2003 as a Darul Uloom style Islamic institute, appropriate for the modern world.  

What challenges do we face?

Our primary source of income is derived from fee paying students. Post Covid, we have struggled to raise funds to support our existing services and help the College to grow and deliver its services at higher standards.

Support for students

We are unable to meet the demands of students seeking financial support and scholarships. This includes students who do not have the financial means to pay their fees. We receive high number of applications for support, and this is increasing each year.

One of the main reasons highlighted by students for dropping out or discontinuing their studies and not enrolling on to the Alimiyyah Programme is the fees. We aim to raise funds to provide crucial help to more students to study all the programmes on offer at the College insha Allah.

Sustainability, capacity building and development work

We are committed to securing the College’s future by achieving financial sustainability. The College is determined to build on its strong foundations by continuing to grow and improve its infrastructure through capacity building and development work (in both the educational and operational areas). The College strongly follows the ethos of Continuous Improvement in respect of all areas of its operations.

What help do we need?

1. £45,000 funding to financially support our Alimiyyah and Arabic Intensive students.
2. £40,000 funding for sustainability, capacity building and development work.

What do we offer?

Our mission is to develop and enrich a tailored engaging curriculum that would allow students to learn the Islamic Sciences at varying levels in terms of breadth and depth.

We have over 1000+ students studying with us every year. 

What are our aims and core values?

Whilst maintaining a traditional approach to learning the Islamic Sciences is a core value of ours, we also recognise the dynamics of western society and an ever-changing landscape. The aim is to educate Muslims to a level that they will be able to sufficiently serve their community as leaders and educate Muslims to a level that would allow them to live as upstanding Muslim citizens.

2. Impart essential Islamic knowledge to our communities and beyond.
3. Help portray Islam in a positive manner to Muslims and non-Muslims alike.
4. Develop courses that are world renowned.

Who manages Ebrahim College?

Mujahid Ali - Director of Education

Shaykh Mujahid leads the development of curriculum and teaching staff. Since 2004, Shaykh has been a teacher at Ebrahim College, teaching Arabic literature, Tafsir and Hadith. Shaykh also has ijaazah in al-Qira’aatal-Sab’ from the Institute of Islamic Education, Dewsbury and Ijazah in Hadiths from the Ulama in Dewsbury, and from the Ulama in the Middle East.

Shuaib Muhammad - Business Director

Shuaib manages the finances and Operations Team at the College. He has been involved with the College since 2006, playing various roles at the College.
