In the midst of an escalating conflict in Palestine, the numbers of the death toll and injured persons is rising. The humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip continues to deteriorate Muslim Charity and partners have prepared this Gaza Emergency Response Plan to provide immediate relief to the people affected by on-going offensives.

Medicine for Gaza

Thousands have been wounded including children and women due to the intensive bombings. Six hospitals and nine primary health care centres have been damaged, with one centre suffering severe damage. One hospital is not functioning due to lack of fuel. There are shortages of essential medicines and medical disposables in Gaza. An average of 42% of categories of essential medicines in the Gaza Strip are completely depleted, with 26% of essential medical disposables at less than a month’s supply at the time of writing.

Family Survival Packs (Non-food items)

The displaced and vulnerable families are in urgent need of items to survive. The Family Survival Packs for Gaza include sleeping mattresses, blankets, bed sheets, pillows, plastic chairs, buckets, soaps, jerry cans sanitary pads, clothing, shoes, stove, kitchen and bathroom utilities etc.

Food Packs for Gaza

We are delivering food packs to the affected families. These parcels go beyond typical food relief and contain a variety of items such as lentils, macaroni, tuna fish, beans and cooking oil for families to make whole, healthy meals. One food parcel will be sufficient for one family for one month.

Clean Water for Gaza

An estimated 800,000 people are lacking regular access to safe piped water. Muslim Charity’s water tankers each provide clean water to 10 families for one Month.
