Providing Emergency Food Parcels For War Torn Children In Yemen, Afghanistan, Syria, Palestine, Kashmir And The Rohingya

Whilst we all will enjoy this Ramadan in the comfort of our homes, Children In Countries Like Yemen and Palestine Eagerly Wait For Your Help

We'll be in the comfort of our homes with ample food to sustain us each day, there are children all over the world who do not have this privilege. No child should suffer from the long- term effects of hunger, especially in the holy month. This is the unfortunate reality for many Rohingya, Syrian, Yemeni, Palestinian, Afghan and Kashmiri children who are suffering in environments of persecution and war, malnutrition, waterborne diseases and a lack of safe shelter are the daily dangers these children face.

The Unfortunate Cost of War

Rohingya:
• Over half of Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh are children. (UN)
• Rohingya refugees in the camps of Cox’s Bazar are completely reliant on humanitarian aid for their survival. (UN)

Syria:
•  The price of food went up by 97% in Syria in 2021. By December 2021, food cost 97% more than it had in December 2020. (WFP)
•  There are an estimated 2.8 million IDPs in north-west Syria. 80% of them are women and children.

Yemen:
• In Yemen, 80 per cent of the total population, including 12.4 million children are in need of humanitarian assistance. (UN)
• Half of Yemeni children under 5 years face severe acute malnutrition. (UN)

Gaza:
•     80% of Gazans are dependent on humanitarian assistance. (UNRWA)
•  Over 1.3 million Gazans are food insecure. (OCHA)

Your chance to make a difference.

This Ramadan, we need your help to ensure that these children receive the food they so desperately need. Just £100 can provide one food parcel that will feed a family for an entire month. Each parcel includes staple food for a family of up to 7 members, which works out to 420 meals for the entire month. With basic food items like flour, oil and rice affected by rising inflation, your support is needed more than ever before. Furthermore, by providing just 1 parcel you can gain the reward of 210 Ramadan fasts that would normally take us 7 lunar years to fast. This is based on the following hadith: The Prophet (saw) said, ’Whoever feeds a person breaking his fast will earn the same reward as him, without anything being lessened from the reward of the fasting person’. [Tirmidhi]

How We Ensure Your Aid Gets Delivered

1. Our teams on the ground use local knowledge to find people most in need

2. Funds are used to purchase local food items at competitive, wholesale rates and then delivered at food distributions

3. Projects are constantly monitored and assessed to ensure we optimise our relief work

Honour The Day of Arafah And Give The Best Charity To The Best People

Assalamu’Alaikum Dear Supporter,

The Prophet (saw) said of ‘Arafah, ‘The sun does not rise or set upon a day that is more virtuous than it’. [Tirmidhi]

SubhanAllah, today Allah (swt) has granted us a truly special opportunity – the chance to give the BEST charity to the BEST people on the BEST day of the entire Islamic year!

Did you know that, when the Messenger of Allah (saw) was asked, ‘What is the best charity?’ he replied, ‘(Providing) water’. [Abu Dawud]?

And did you know that he (saw) praised the people of Yemen immensely, saying, ‘The best of men are the men of Yemen, belief is Yemeni, and I am Yemeni’. [Ahmad]?

Today, we have the chance to serve these blessed people and honour the Day of ‘Arafah. Every $1.25 you give will provide water for life to a person in Yemen – a truly incredible Sadaqah Jariyah!

Your donation will help our team rehabilitate the water infrastructure in Ma’rib, supplying clean water to 1.2 million people. Families will use this to drink, cook food, make wudhu, clean their homes and so much more – and you will be reaping the rewards of every drop. How can we miss out on this chance Allah has given us to draw closer to Him, His Messenger (saw) and the Ummah?

Donate now to give the BEST charity to the BEST people on the BEST day of the year! Please find the donation page link below:
