My name is Nazia Fatima and I am happy to be part of Human Concern International's fundraising during Ramadan this year. Seeing a world with everyone man, woman, and child has access to clean drinking water is a dream for many, including myself. I hope that you can join me on this journey over the next 30 days to build a well and provide access to clean drinking water to those in need in countries like Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and on the African continent.

THE FIGHT AGAINST THIRST

Men, women, and children all across Africa suffer from a lack of access to clean drinking water. This Ramadan, Human Concern International is building water wells across the continent to provide fresh, clean drinking water for residents of vulnerable communities.

 
In Islam, the reward of the person who provides water to the poor, the needy, and the thirsty is immense. ‘The Messenger of Allah (saw) was asked, “Which charity is best?” He replied, “[Providing] water”’. [Abu Dawud]
