WATER CAMPAIGN UPDATE II -  OCTOBER 28th, 2024

HELLO ALL! Katie here!  Our water campaign, Water for Multiple Displaced Families continues to receive donations at a fair level, and yet we must plead again with our supporters and beyond to ENSURE the success of this movement into the near future.  With each donation, we are utilizing the funds and distributing water as aid within the displacement camp of Az-Zawaida.  With your help we are achieving the funding goals in order to give water,  a cornerstone to human and organismal life, to those who are desperately in need of access to water in order to nourish themselves by way of maintaining water for utilizations not limited to DRINKING, CLEANING, COOKING, RINSING, BATHING, AND LAUNDERING CLOTHES.   
FUNDING STATUS:

This important campaign, Water for Multiple Displaced Families maintains a current goal funding status of $3,313 out of our $7,500 goal!  As of October 28th, 2024 our fund has not achieved even HALF of the necessary goal. May I ask you URGENTLY to please share this campaign further, so that many hands are able to join in and support dozens of families in need?  Balsam, and the people of Az-Zawaida, Gaza are counting on YOU to help fulfill the funding goal of our campaign.  Many displaced people do not have money to constantly supply their needs. Helping many people access water for free is a way of working to offset the harsh realities that Palestinians face every day.

Hello Everyone! 

 This is Katie, once again writing to you with a few notable updates about our water campaign’s progress!  Please continue to read :-) 

➭➭➭ During the month of September we received $2,305 from under 25 donors, with the mean average donation being around $90!  This is great news for our campaign and proves that a handful of people can effect change in the world with collective action! Let’s pray for more beautiful individuals like those who have contributed thus far to learn of the great work we are tending in this aid project to bring water to folks experiencing almost a year of displacement.  With the money from this fundraiser being withdrawn as needed, we are supplying a number of community members with water for their hydration, health, and cleansing needs.  

I must ask YOU to please help us in these few crucial ways TODAY!

1. ➜ DONATE - This important step ensures 35-70 people access to clean drinking water within the locality of Az-Zawaida, Gaza.  Any amount is helpful to the movement of our goals, with $200 being the cost for the individual 528 gallon delivery. 
        If 20 people donate $10 today we will have secured the costs for another water tank delivery.. or conversely if 40 people donate $5 today, we will have secured the costs for another water tank delivery!!  
    
2. ➜ SHARE - When thinking about how many people we reached and the amount of folks who had an impact on our campaign, <25 people should not be made to fundraise $7500 - can we all work together, hand in hand, on creating a snowball or domino effect, so that the bearing of financial responsibilities falls to less people? Please consider doing your part as a friend and ally to this cause, by sharing it online, verbally, physically with the world you exist in. If I were there, I would speak to your friends too ;-)

    

✤ to remind everyone: Water comes through scheduling by my friend Balsam’s coordination with the vendor who supplies a water delivery truck equipped with a multi-gallon tank. After payment and scheduling, the vendor drives into the displacement area in which Balsam and many individuals are located, and distributes water to those who come to the truck to supply their needs.  NONE of these folks are asked to pay for water because of the kindness of your heart. 

 May we continue to supply their needs as we have already done so, and may Allah protect these innocent lives who deserve care and happiness over that which they have endured for far too long.
