It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts we share the passing of sixteen-year-old year old Hafidh Nebel Hamza, beloved son of Br. Hamza Mabrate and Sr. Khadija Ibrahim, and the middle brother of Omar Hamza and Yusuf Hamza.

Nebel Hamza was a student at IQA. Just recently he was given Ijazah in Jazariah by Sh. Saad Hassanain and a ceremony took place to celebrate this achievement. A Hafidh of Quran, he had a beautiful and melodious voice. He had finished memorizing half of Al Arbaiya Nabawaiya and was working on his Ijazah in Hafs with Sheikhna. 

We are building water wells in Ethiopia as a sadaqah jaariyah on his behalf with HHRD. 

HHRD's Water For Life program envisions a world in which all communities have easy access to safe, protected, and sustainable drinking water. 

The mission of Helping Hand for Relief and Development's (HHRD) Water For Life (WFL) program is to provide access to clean water for daily consumption and irrigation. We construct and rehabilitate water supply pumps, wells, and storage tanks for the benefit of children, families, and communities.
