Our History
Weavers Food Bank Service is aimed predominately at the 'isolated groups' of elders who are lonely from Black Minority Ethnic, deprived & disadvanged backgrounds. The project aims to address the number of barriers that these groups face when it comes to their participation in society. Most of our elder users live in high rise building or flat which makes harder for them to visit local shops, many are afraid to go out due to the health risk they face, as a result of the lockdown and pandemic accessing daily necessaries would be challenging for our elder generation. Please help us to support the most vulnerable & needy of our society by donating to the project.
